Golden opportunity to work on a huge Banking project working on Tech documentation & working closely with an expert Risk Management team & Data team

  • Handle tech documentation - SOP's, manuals & reference guides
  • Sydney based: 12 Month Contract role w/ potential extensions
  • Immediate start / Daily Rate: $450-600 range (depending on level of experience)

Duration: 12 Months Contract
Location: Sydney (onsite work)

Rate Range: $450-600/day (depending on level of experience)

Looking for a Technical Writer who will be responsible for delivering:
  • Accurate and easy to understand Technical documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals and reference guides
  • Written communications and presentations for Client Projects of the Finance Crimes Risk Management Team and Data and Analytics Team
Accountabilities for the role:
 
  1. Use the latest tools and techniques to create visually appealing Standard Operating Procedures, Process Maps and other training aides including LITFLOW techniques e.g. short videos to demonstrate complex tasks
  2. Work with the users, obtain feedback and update the above to ensure the right outcome for the teams using these documents
  3. Work with the technology teams and explain requirements and ensure the technology mirrors the SOPs, process maps etc.
  4. Lead working groups / workshops to collate user input
What we require from you:
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of the latest Authoring tools, like Whatfix, AdobeRoboHelp, Visio, Signavio etc
  • Previous experience in Finance/Capital Markets Industry exposure
  • Excellent level of English both verbally and in writing
  • Education: University Degree in Communications, Teaching/ Education or related field or equivalent / 
  • Certificate of Technical Writing / CPTC is a nice to have
Other Relevant Skills:
  • Superior level of English communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Excellent PowerPoint presentation creation skills 
  • Graphical presentation of data sets and storytelling skills through explaining data
  • Meeting Minutes and Governance Board Paper creation (writing and editing)

  • Problem solving skills with a can-do attitude
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills to handle multiple volumes of work, and the ability to prioritise
