An opportunity exists for a Storeperson with our client. a world leader in Water Technologies products, solutions & services

  • MON-FRI 8AM-4PM $29.00
We are currently seeking a committed & motivated individual, to work with a reputable company based in South Windsor.The role is of a Warehouse/Storeperson with experience in a similar environment.

This role will involve assisting in various areas of the warehousing department. To ensure your success in this role you will have the experience in the following areas:
  • Receiving incoming goods and checking for damage
  • ensuring all stock discrepancies are investigated and rectified in a timely manner
  • Processing purchase orders 
  • Loading & unloading containers and delivery vehicles
  • Operating computers to obtain details of location and quantity of items in stock (SAP experience highly regarded)
  • Labelling goods with details of storage location
  • Packing and weighing goods and sealing boxes
  • Handling fragile good using safe manual handling procedures
  • Assisting in maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse & amenities
  • Operating high reach forklifts to lift, place and remove goods on high racking
  • Stabilising pallets using appropriate tools
  • Operating specialised equipment, such as manually and electronically guided order pickers, and checking goods off picking list
  • Assisting with regular stocktake
Key Competencies & Qualifications:
  • Must have current forklift licence with previous experience
  • Must have experience within a Warehouse/Stores environment
  • Understand and adhere to WH&S regulations
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer skills (SAP, Microsoft Applications)
  • Be a flexible and responsive team member
