The Opportunity

Safety Australia Group is a dynamic and growing business servicing the needs of many Corporate, Government, NFP and SME Clients primarily across the eastern seaboard of Australia.

As the business continues to grow on many fronts, we are seeking an experienced and qualified WHS Consultant to provide consultancy services to our Clients across many industry sectors.

The opportunity lies within the Safety Consultancy division of our Group and will be supported by a high level of technical knowledge and operational support.

The Role

The WHS Consultant's role will involve:
  • Responding to Client enquiries for assistance on their individual WHS needs.
  • The provision of a range of services including gap analysis/audits/reviews, site inspections, risk assessments, systems and programs development, and customisation and delivery of training programs.
  • Some travel may be required outside of the metropolitan area.
The Ideal Person Will Possess
  • MUST have an ABN/ACN and relevant insurances - please note your application will not be considered if you do not meet this criteria.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in providing WHS consultancy services to a broad client/industry base.
  • Audit qualifications and experience.
  • Technical WHS knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of WHS Legislation, Regulations, COPs and Australian Standards.  Further knowledge and experience in Quality and Environment will be highly regarded.
  • Diploma qualifications (minimum) and preferably a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
  • High constructive energies and a passion for WHS.
