Senior HSEQ Advisor

Our Client is a National Construction Company who is looking for a driven and proactive safety Professional to join their team. 
The HSEQ Senior Advisor is responsible for guiding and managing the overall provision of HSEQ Services, Policies and Programs



Key Accountability and Responsibilities:

The HSEQ Senior Advisor is responsible for guiding and managing the overall provision of HSEQ Services, Policies and Programs
  • Complete allocated WHS actions as directed, and oversee the daily management of HSEQ activates across the business, ensuring legal compliance
  • Manage, maintain and actively promote the business HSEQ Strategic Plan
  • Coach, develop and mentor the HSEQ Advisors to ensure a collaborative approach between the HSEQ Team and the business
  • Identify process improvements for HSEQ and improve processes.
  • Manage annual HSEQ auditing (internal and external), driving improvements as required
  • Manage internal HSEQ schedules, reporting deficiencies or non-completion as required
  • Conduct internal audits
  • Participate in incident investigations if required
  • Assist and support the implementation of the HSEQ management system
  • Facilitate injury management and return to work program at respective office/branch


To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
  • Previous experience within the manufacturing or construction industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in WHSE (or equivalent
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • Lead (Senior) Auditor Qualification (desirable)
  • Thorough working knowledge of OHS and industry best practice, and Work Health & Safety Management Systems ISO 45001, Quality Management Systems ISO 9001, Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001
  • Working knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations (desirable).
