The Role: 
The Assistant Store Manager position is critical to the success of the Auckland Airport store, you will be supporting the Store Manager and lead a team of driven individuals who love the customer service aspect of retail. No two days will be the same with your customers being travellers looking for that extra special item before they leave Auckland. 

You will be driving the team to achieve sales targets, implement visual merchandising directives, create a fantastic in store experience and build connections with all customers. 

What you will bring to the table: 
  • Experience in a retail leadership capacity ideally ASM experience within high end retail 
  • A personal drive to succeed with ability to demonstrate success in achieving sales targets 
  • Initiative and proactive approach 
  • An analytical approach to the store financials 
  • An empowering individual who can coach a team of retail assistants 
  • A love for retail 
  • Minimum 2 years retail experience 
What you can expect in the role: 
  • Tuesday - Saturday roster however it is rotating so there will be a requirement for late nights and early starts to align to Airport requirements 
  • Autonomy in the role, the Regional is based in Australia so we are seeking an independant resilient and reliable ASM
  • Attractive salary $50-55k per annum
