Our client, Dalton Consulting Engineering (DCE), is a privately-owned civil engineering consultancy working with some of Australia’s largest property developers and sporting associations. With a commitment to world’s best practice and a core focus on Urban Development, Infrastructure and Sport, they have become a widely recognised firm in the provision of innovative civil engineering design and project management.

The Role:
DCE are seeking an experienced Level 3 - 4 Civil Engineer to join their Integrated Water Management (IWM) team.  This role will contribute to various projects as part of the IWM team, preparing concept and functional designs for stormwater management and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertaking flood modelling and report writing & documentation
  • Providing internal feedback to engineers and project managers
  • Providing technical advice and support to the team, including junior team members
  • Providing informal input in fee proposals as required 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or Diploma in Engineering
  • Experience undertaking stormwater modelling (particularly RORB and Tuflow)
  • Experience developing stormwater infrastructure concepts based on modelling and calculations
