The Company
Operating a resort in the Outback, with a strong focus on sustainability, social responsibility and training and employment of the indigenous community, this company generates it's own electricity and water supply and runs a 5 star operation with regular activities and excursions to one of the worlds most iconic natural landforms in Uluru and Kata Tjuta. 

The Role
Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, you will be responsible for creating and delivering all the delicious sweets and pastries for the resorts, having full creative freedom and the opportunity to use produce unique to the indigenous heartland of Australia, this could be an opportunity to broaden your horizons and make your stamp on an incredible resort.

About you
  • Oversee the complete operation of a Pastry Kitchen so production meets demand
  • Monitoring and upholding orderly and hygienic work practices to ensure a premium food product
  • Supervising and assisting in preparing “mis en place” to specification to support demands of all outlets resort wide
  • Oversee training in and correct and safe use of all relevant commercial cooking appliances
  • Set an example to all subordinates with regard to using initiative and flair to present food
