A 90 minute commute from Auckland or relocation to Hamilton.

Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead the team at a stunning Estate located in Hamilton.

The on site restaurant and multiple venues host a variety of events from corporate company functions, private events, weddings, tours and a host of national and international dignitaries. Join a team of hardworking professionals individuals who are passionate about what they do, who work through buys times with an energetic and positive mindset.

  • Committed, responsible and reliable
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position
The Role:
  • Manage the running of shifts in the restaurant
  • Stock control management
  • Maintain the venue and work with external contractors for maintenance
  • Being able to manage a section, being on the counter or oversee the day to day operations and manage restaurant flow for any given shift
  • Running an event according to the run sheet given by the event manager and manage the event staff for the day.
  • Roster flexibility and weekend work will be required
