Fantastic opportunity for a Restaurant Manager seeking a change of scenery to stunning nature and beaches on your back door step!

A rare opportunity to run the Restaurant within this luxurious yet affordable hotel based in the Marlborough Sounds. 

Our client is after an experienced Restaurant Manager to deliver exceptional quality and customer service to their guests. A destination spot for most means detailed, attentive and comprehensive service will be required at all times. 

The Role: 
  • Lead, develop & motivate a large team of 10+ 
  • Complete monthly audits and reports 
  • Take full responsibility for P&L 
  • Lead the operational delivery of the busy Restaurant, Room Service and Minibar offering 
  • Build and sustain professional and collaborative relationships with staff, management and customers to ensure the overall business operates efficiently
  • To support and work closely with the General Manager, on rosters, wage costs, budgeting and forecasting
  • Collaborate with the BOH function on menu development and supplier relationships 
  • Report daily to the General Manager regarding sales results, productivity, and team performance
About You:
  • Restaurant Management experience 
  • Current Managers Certificate and LCQ
  • Enthusiastic and a “can-do” attitude
  • Strong bar and liquor knowledge preferred 
  • Committed, responsible and reliable
  • Flexible work ethic (Weekend work will be required)
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Customer service focused
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
