About the Role:
Our client is currently seeking an energetic, career driven and focused Accountant/Auditor to join their fantastic team. The successful candidate will possess previous experience working with a public practice accountancy firm, ideally with some auditing experience. Duties:
  • Facilitate direct client contact by phone, email and in person
  • Preparation of Australian income tax returns for Individuals, Trusts, Partnerships and Companies and Superannuation funds
  • Compilation of Financial Statements for Trusts, Partnerships, Companies and Superannuation funds
  • Completion and lodgement of Business Activity Statements
  • Examine financial statements to be sure that they are accurate and comply with laws and regulations
  • Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures
  • Provision of Business Management and Tax Planning Advice
Skills and Experience:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Business Services role
  • Previous auditing experience in a public practice accountancy setting
  • Experience working for private clients, family businesses and corporate structures
  • Experience with trusts, partnerships, individuals, companies and possibly Superannuation funds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Solid understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
  • Must be a Permanent Resident of Australia
