About the Role:
Working closely with the Operations Manager you will promote a positive culture of Workplace Health, Safety, Environment & Quality excellence throughout the company. Being an expert in this field you will deliver best practice, by ensuring all employees, contractors and visitors are provided with safe working environment and the company is always in compliance with relevant legislation.
You will be contributing to the implementation of HSEQ Systems across 3 companies, working with internal stake holders where necessary to contribute and implement HSEQ procedures & processes. Working closely with Management and Supervisors at various sites to ensure compliance with OHS legislative laws, policies, procedures.

Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years OHS experience in the workplace
  • Solid understanding of State & National OHS Legislation and requirements  
  • Knowledge of product certification to Australian Standards
  • Detailed knowledge of Quality Management System ISO 9001
  • Occupational Health and Safety Qualification (Cert IV or Diploma level) desirable
  • Computer savvy, with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly
  • Ability to take directions and follow through assigned tasks while working within a team, as well as independently
  • Experience in writing procedures and processes
  • High level interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proven analytical and investigation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
