We are currently looking for 2 Client-Side Project Managers to manage various rail projects across Queensland. Brisbane or Cairns based.

2 x Client Side Project Managers Required – Rail Projects

Position 1 – Brisbane based
Position 2 – Cairns based (or can be Brisbane based but with frequent travel to Cairns)

Potential 2 year contracts (initial 12 months with likely 12 month extension).

We are currently looking for 2 Client-Side Project Managers to manage various rail projects and is experienced being the interface between the government agencies, the subcontractors, and the various internal stakeholders.
These roles will report to the Infrastructure Manager and projects will include large construction projects such as Bruce Highway upgrades, rail corridor upgrades, and various other civil packages of works.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the interfaces between the government agencies and subcontractors
  • Manage internal stakeholders, community groups, unions, and government agencies
  • Monitor and manage all contractors, consultants and internal service providers
  • Report regularly to management on project progress, including any potential variations to cost, time or quality
  • Provide full support to the Infrastructure Manager
  • Financial management of all assigned projects
  • Manage the operational aspects of project delivery
What you’ll need to succeed:
  • Demonstrated Client Side Project Management experience working on major transport infrastructure projects, particularly rail / civil packages
  • Experience managing the interface between the various external stakeholders ie local government bodies
  • Able to compile robust technical reports
  • Fully conversant with all aspects of Project Management activities including monthly reporting, reviewing plans / drawings, and ensuring all works are carried out and completed to specifications
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Exceptional attention to detail
