Site Supervisor with reputable company delivering water projects through the Hunter region and beyond

We are very excited to be partnering with one of Australia’s leading companies in the Water Industry who have delivered over 300 projects in 19 years.

Due to their continued growth, they are looking for a Site Supervisor to join their team and take ownership of the successful on site delivery of their projects in the Hunter region.

The responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering the project according to the master program.
  • Coordinating and supervising the subcontractors and labourers on site
  • Organising and ensuring all materials, plant and tools are on and available as required.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies in regard to labour levels on site, plant hire and ensuring 3 quotes for all purchases.
  • Maintain a safe workplace for all site personnel and ensure that environmental impacts are minimised including to box talks, daily site inspections, PPE, first aid, incident management and review and updating SWMS as required.
  • Ensure quality control of the delivering in accordance with purchase orders and project specifications.
  • Ensure the project is carried out according to the project Management Plan and all documentation is complete, including daily diary, updated plans, quality and safety documents
  • Ensure professional and positive communication with client, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and authorities.
  • Support the project Manager as required.
To be considered for the role, you will have:
  • Tertiary civil or mechanical qualifications.
  • 5 years plus experience as a Site Supervisor / Manager
  • Experience delivering successful water projects
  • Experience coordinating and supervising a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills
  • HSE qualifications
  • First Aid Certificate and Drivers Licence
