Monica Clare Recruitment are proud to partner with one of the region's largest and diverse organisations, providing education and support to local communities.

Off the back of some exciting growth in their short and long term pipeline across their property portfolio, they are seeking a Project Manager to join their construction team and manage the delivery of capital projects from design through to practical completion.

The successful candidates will have exceptional communication and relationship skills to work on client side to meet the common goal of project delivery within budget, on time with optimum quality and minimum risk. 


  • Interface directly with a range of internal stakeholders
  • Project manage the design phase of a project including engaging with lead architect and consultants.
  • Liaise and negotiate with statutory authorities for approvals
  • Lodgement of documentation in support of DA and statutory authority approvals including writing and collating internal and external documentation.
  • Coordinate and lead consultants, authorities, head contractors and the project teams.
  • Prepare scope of works for tender packages for head contractor and trades.
  • Review tender submissions and provide recommendations.
  • Prepare project management program and track progress through the project, reporting on the status and variances and creating action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
  • Contract negotiation and management including review of progress claims and variations to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk.
  • Quality control including inspections and reporting.
  • Implement project documentation procedures to ensure document control.
  • Conduct Risk Assessment and develop risk mitigation including overseeing the implementation of safe working procedures and audits.
Your background will include:
  • A Bachelor of Construction Management or degree in a similar field.
  • Ideally a client-side Project Management background gained from working within the education or housing sectors.
  • Experience in the successful delivery of projects up to $10M.
  • Strong leadership with a collaborative approach
  • Working within a professional construction team.
