Site Manager for mutli-storey residential project in the Newcastle region

We are very excited to be working with a reputable development and construction company who deliver high quality residential and commercial projects across the East Coast.

They have multiple projects in the Newcastle and Central Coast region in the pipeline and are kicking off with a project in the Newcastle region in November.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a reputable company who value their staff and have an outstanding reputation with clients and subcontractors alike.

They are looking for a Site Manager who will take ownership for the onsite delivery of a project to meet the budget and timeline with optimimum quality whilst miminising the risk.

The responsibilities include:
  • Planning and scheduling work to meet required timelines and project objectives.
  • Coordinate project staff, subcontractors and delivery of materials from suppliers. 
  • Hold regular toolbox meetings
  • Be the "on site contact" for the Project Manager and Client.
  • Ensure comprehensive records are established and maintained
  • Measuring and reporting on progress against project plans
  • Create and promote a positive team environment
  • Manage team members and ensure behaviours are aligned with company values.
  • Ensure the required high quality standards are met.
  • Implement and Promote the WH&S requirements of the project, the company and legislation.
To be considered for the role you will have:
  • Construction Industry recognised trade or tertiary qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Site Manager role.
  • Experience on a multi-storey residential project.
  • Construction Induction Card.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good computer literacy including MS office suite
