This company has been in operation for over 30 years and with 70 staff and a strong foothold in the market they are now looking to add to their team a motivated individual who can lead and grow their Hydraulics division.
  
Currently their clients are all requiring further support in this area, and as a result our client is looking for the right person to service their already loyal clientele and development this department into a larger team.

About you:
To be considered for this opportunity you will:
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Engineering (Fluid Power)
  • Come from a Fitter Machinist OR Plant Mechanic background
  • Hold excellent work ethic and enjoy being out in the field problem solving
  • Previous hands-on experience in the field of hydraulics
  • Have excellent communication skills and posses an enthusiasm in what you do
  • Thrive on being self motivated and working autonomously 
About the role: 
  • Project Management:  Manage projects from concept and bidding stage through to execution and commissioning. Arrange all parts and documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Co-ordinate technicians both in workshop and field environments. Assist in training and development of new staff. Develop and implement organisation process flow charts.
  • Diagnostics: Diagnose and repair faults on complex hydraulic systems. Basic electrical and PLC skills.
  • System Flushing and Commissioning: Plan and complete Flushing to system specific standards for new installs and system failures. Commission complex hydraulic systems.
  • System Installations and Builds: Tube bending, general fitting and assembly, bench testing and reporting.
  • Workplace Health and Safety:  Hazard identification, Equipment risk assessments and development of Safe Work Instructions and Job Safety Analysis’.
