Healius is self-insured in New South Wales and is looking to appoint an experienced WHS Coordinator for its NSW and ACT operations.  The successful candidate will be based in North Ryde and will be under the direction of the NSW WHS Manager. The role requires the successful candidate to implement, develop and maintain the WHS Management System across multiple sites and business within the group.   The role will require regular travel to regional NSW and the ACT. 

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate experience in:
  • Providing timely and effective WHS advice to managers and staff.
  • Communicating effectively with personnel at all levels of an organisation
  • Working with multiple sites that are geographically spread
  • Implementing, maintaining (and where possible) improving the safety management system.
  • Working autonomously
  • Providing training
Essential criteria:
  • Diploma or Degree qualified in WHS
  • Significant experience in a safety coordinator role
  • Sound understanding of the legislative safety framework in NSW
Desirable:
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment
  • Experience in a self insured environment in NSW
