Our Client is one of the world’s leading organisations in their field. They are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join their team.
  
In this role, you will play a key part in driving new business opportunities by qualifying and looking after marketing leads and setting appointments for the sales team.
  
Key skills required:
  • Your communication skills will need to be exceptional – you will need to have an excellent phone manner and be able to articulate yourself professionally and confidently both verbally and in writing
  • 2-3 + years’ experience in a similar role within the IT industry e.g. Inside Sales, Business Development, Appointment Setter, Lead Generator etc.
  • Experience using Salesforce would be ideal
  • Experience with SaaS and / or IT Security strongly preferred
  • Highly motivated, positive attitude, goal orientated
  • Aptitude for understanding technology
  • Proven experience in opportunity qualification, account development, call planning and call structure /control
  
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Qualify inbound inquiries and leads
  • Creating appointments with sales team
  • Articulate the Company’s value proposition to potential customers and assess buying interest
  • Meet and exceed daily and weekly call goals delivering well qualified sales opportunities
  • Working closely with other teams in the business
  • Prospecting to multiple organisations via cold calling, social media and email
  • Using the CRM system effectively and accurately by capturing all activity, contact and account information
