Our client is seeking a dynamic and ambitious sales professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join their Commercial Sales Team. The focus of the role will be on complex solution opportunities.  You will be responsible for the full sales life-cycle management including prospecting, discovery, education and thought leadership, solution proposing, negotiating, responding to sales inquiries, developing qualified leads through targeted outbound calling, account management, event attendance and closing business with corporations with complex and mission critical server configurations.

  
Main responsibilities:
  • Proactive lead generation using existing contacts network to build pipeline
  • Meet and exceed monthly quota through strategically selling the company’s propositions to new prospects
  • Responsible for full sales cycle
  • Managing your forecast via Salesforce
  • Developing new opportunities in existing customers
  • Working with Solution Engineers to perform presales feasibility assessments
  • Building cross functional relationships
  
To be suitable for this role you require:
  • cloud solution selling/managed services/professional services experience
  • Professional Sales training and sales process knowledge 
  • Proven successful commercial experience within a strategic sales environment, incorporating value/solutions service selling in the IT/ Technology sector (e.g. Cloud Computing, software,web/ application/ platform hosting, managed services, data centre, SaaS etc.)
  • Ability to build and gain customer engagement and sign off on strategic account development plans.
  • Demonstrable ability to develop rapport and solution sell into board level contacts within Commercial businesses.
  • Proven territory development skills.
  • Strong full life cycle B2B sales experience.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed targets in the shape of KPIs and a monthly revenue quota.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent rapport building skills via the phone, email and face to face to ensure the effective delivery of proposals.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities concurrently.
  • Proven ability to respond to RFIs, RFQs and working with peers on negotiating and drafting commercial contracts.
