This major Global IT company at the forefront of Cloud technology has been going from strength to strength and their operations here in Australia has seen them expanding both the customer base as well as their staffing numbers dramatically over the past couple of years.

They have a fantastic opportunity available for a seasoned sales professional with solid experience selling IT solutions to NSW State Government.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales quota through strategically selling the company’s various propositions to new prospects in a consultative manner.
  • Responsible for full sales cycle
  • Developing new opportunities in existing customers that are within the assigned territory i.e. State Government
  • Work closely with other teams to perform presales feasibility assessments
  • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of your prospects business needs
In addition:
  • Proven experience selling to State Government
  • Professional Sales training and sales process knowledge (e.g. TAS, Strategic Selling,Spring, Scotsman, Miller Heiman, CCV, VBS)
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or relevant experience.
  • Proven successful experience within a strategic sales environment, ideally selling Cloud Managed Services
  • Ability to build and gain customer engagement and sign off on strategic account development plans.
  • Proven territory development skills. Must be able to generate, qualify and close business opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills via the phone, email and face to face to ensure the effective delivery of proposals.
  • Proven ability to respond to RFIs, RFQs and working with peers on negotiating and drafting commercial contracts.
