Leasing Administrator


We are on the search for an experienced Leasing Administrator to join our team. You will work as part of the Medical and Dental Centres team.

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Leasing Administrator to join our Medical Centres team at Healius.
Reporting in to the Leasing and Sub-Leasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and tracking leases, and retaining up to date records of the property portfolio of Medical Centres, Primary Dental and Health &Co.  This role will be based in St Leonards.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to: 
  • Liaise with external and internal lease management teams to insource lease administration and transition lease administration, including confirming and updating data, and becoming familiar with a new system
  • Update and maintain the lease database, adding new leases, properties, landlords, tenants, rent reviews and options
  • Process and maintain leases to ensure all information is accurately entered and maintained in the database and filed appropriately.
  • Process lease financial transactions, such as rents, sublease payments, renewals, taxes, and property expenses
  • Ensure all lease documentation is instructed and completed in a timely manner having regard to company’s standard policies
  • Oversee and ensure rent payments and all other financial transactions are being taken care of in a timely manner
  • Arrears management and tenant arrears control
  • Accurately interpret abstract commercial lease terms
  • Develop and maintain relationships internally and externally with Property Managers and Landlords
  • Act as key point of escalation for Landlord’s in relation to lease management issues
  • Provide input into streamlining leasing processes and reporting to introduce efficiencies where possible
  • Check recurring monthly tenant charges and sundry charges, issue tax invoices and supporting documentation as required
Experience & Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' in a similar role working as Lease Administrator
  • Experience within the Healthcare Sector preferred
  • Experience in analysing and interpreting lease agreements and financial statements
  • Background in Accounts/Finance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Pyogenesis and/or Esker Systems
