The Company                                                                                             
Manufacturing organisation who has a strong history of success and a pipeline of contracts which will see the business grow significantly over the coming years. Head office is based in the Rydalmere area.
  
The Position                                                                                                 
Provide service to national customers and external sales representatives; answer queries, provide advice, support and complete sales transactions to be dispatched via the warehouse.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist customers with price, product availability & technical queries
  • Prepare quotes and proposals in a timely manner
  • Follow up on delivery dates that can not be supplied at time of order
  • Initiate transfer of stock from interstate warehouse when required
  • Monitor open orders and back order report
  • Cross sell products where applicable
  • Mail product brochures & other promotional information
  • Liaise with branch staff and deal with complaints
  
The Candidate
  • Experience within a similar Internal Sales/Customer Support role
  • Have high attention to detail
  • Be self motivated and have excellent follow up skills
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Experience with the system SAP is preferred
  • Proven experience dealing with a technical product
  • Intermediate Microsoft office skills 
  • The ability to build rapport with stakeholders at various levels
