About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to take a step into a supportive environment and drive a payroll process improvement project. This role will be a minimuim 12 month fixed term contract, and requires a specialist knowledge in Chris 21 or Ichris. 

The responsibilities:
Reporting into the National Payroll Manager, the main responsibilities include:
  1. Assisting with monthly payroll tax lodgement & reconciliation
  2. Monthly Superannuation payments
  3. Driving overall payroll process improvement
  4. Managing Centrelink Paid Parental Leave payments
  5. Assisting with end of pay deduction payments i.e. Novated Leasing & Child Support
  6. Maintaining & monitoring overpayment register
  7. Assisting with reconciling wages clearing accounts
  8. Advise and consult with key senior stakeholders within the business 
The successful applicant will have:
  • Have experience in a high volume environment
  • A strong knowledge in Chris 21/Ichris is crucial
  • Experience with multiple ABN's & awards
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Be able to work in large, team environments
  • Experience running and leading payroll projects
