Our client is looking to engage Manual and Automation Testers in multiple locations - Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane!

About The Role

The IT Test Analyst sources and analyses design documents, prepares and peer-reviews test scripts, executes test scripts, and raises defects and incidents for unexpected results, in line with work scope assigned by the Team Leader/Team Manager.

The IT Test Analyst may be expected to lead small sections of work within a release.

They communicate effectively across a range of media types, using various styles to suit different audiences both technical and non-technical. They understand and embrace the agency's various ways of working and are agile in their approach to collaboration and delivery of services.

Key Duties
  1. Prepare and provide guidance on testing documentation and manage escalated issues arising from testing, including related to quality
  2. Adhere to all established processes, methodologies and procedures; contribute to the development of new work practices
  3. Identify data requirements to satisfy test cases and create, manipulate and maintain test data
  4. Develop test documentation, responding to client enquiries on test specifications, test scripts and/or test plans
  5. Contribute to quality assurance reviews and make recommendations for improvements
  6. Agile Methodologies
  7. Develop strategies and test plans to meet application testing requirements and coordinate the delivery of a test project phase, in coordination with business and other teams
  8. Identify and report on technical issues or risks and collaborate on their resolution
  9. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders establishing, maintaining effective and influential networks 
  10. Plan and design strategies to effectively and accurately test the technical aspects of integration services components, products, and releases
  11. Construct and document processes and procedures for the undertaking of testing activities
  12. Encourage and promote quality excellence within the team, undertake quality assurance activities
  13. Select the appropriate resources to achieve quality business and service delivery outcomes and performance objectives, tracking the progress of testing against planned schedule

Our ideal job seeker will have experience in:
  • Cloud migration experience (AWS preferred)
  • OpenText CCM Suite experience (Communication Server, Exstream, Design Manager)
  • Microsoft TFS/Azure DevOps experience
Desirable Experience:
  • MSSQL databases
  • Enterprise Application Integration
