Techforce Personnel are a national recruitment agency and project management firm specialising in blue and white collar recruitment across mining and resources, shutdowns, facilities maintenance, industrial services, civil construction and the oil and gas industries.

The Opportunity:

Our client is one of the leading shutdown providers in WA. Due to the growth, they are looking for experienced Roller Technicians for a shutdown in April and  onwards.

The ideal candidate will be experienced with:
  
  • Conduct maintenance and replacements of various rollers on a conveyor belt
  • Work in a team and individually to remove and replace tracking frames
  • Operate Chain pullers and Come-alongs
  • Identify general reasons for roller damage or faults and rectify where able
  • Estimate lifts and conduct transfers with slings
   
To be considered you must have / be willing to obtain:
  
  • Working @ Heights within 4 years
  • Confined Space  within 4 years
  • Basic Fire  within 4 years
  • Driver's license preferable
  • White card
  • National Police Clearance Certificate within 12 months 
  • All applicants must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol
  • Previous site experience as a Roller Technician
  • Work in high heat completing repetitive heavy lifting
  • Additional experience with Hard and Soft skirting Boards is an advantage
  • Conveyor maintenance knowledge
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Follow instruction verbally and written
  • Work efficiently and produce quality results
  • Commitment to HSE on site
  
The Process
  
All shortlisted personnel must be able to attend a face to face interview at our WA office, and pass a full pre-employment medical as well as drug & alcohol testing prior to employment.
