TWPS is seeking to recruit a casual Electrical and Instrumentation Technician (Dual Trade) to our Bayswater Power Station contract. Reporting to Work Group Leader, the E&I trades-person will display energy and enthusiasm for the task at hand and will be responsible for performing routine, preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance. 

This role casual and unfortunately is not being offered as FIFO or DIDO. 

Key responsibilities will include: 
  • Commitment to ZEROHarm to people, the environment and the plant
  • Deliver prompt and concise feedback on activities and plant condition to the Maintenance Work Group Leader
  • Perform maintenance activities in accordance with company & client processes and procedures
  • Participate in work scope development and planning
  • Positive communication, responsiveness and timely action with commitments
  • Engage with our culture of continuous improvement to promote creative ideas and suggestions 
Couple this with;
  • Proven experience in an operational environment within the power/heavy industry
  • Understanding of computerised maintenance management system (SAP)
  • Permit to work system experience
  • Maintenance best practice driven
  • The ability to work well within a team environment
  • Good prioritising & organisational skills
  • Self motivated with a quality driven attitude
  • Cert III Electrical trade
  • Cert III Instrumentation
  • OHS Card
  • Confined Space & Working At Heights
  • High Risk Work license – EWP (desirable)
