Our business is growing and we are now seeking to appoint an experienced Payroll Officer on a fixed term basis for a minimum of 12 months

  • Kwinana or Bunbury location (W.A)

We work with our customers to achieve their goals by using best-practice systems and processes backed by technically skilled people to deliver project management, outage management and sustaining operations and maintenance services.

Our business is growing and we are now seeking to appoint an experienced Payroll Officer on a fixed term basis for a minimum of 12 months duration (with potential for extension) out of our Bunbury Office or Kwinana site.

Duties will include however not be limited to:
  • Creation and maintenance of payroll files
  • Onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Timesheet entry and collating shift information
  • Allocate hours to appropriate work orders
  • End to end processing of payroll
  • Distribution of payslips
  • Maintain leave roster and leave records
  • Management and timely resolution of payroll enquiries
  • Ability to interpret applicable EBA’s and fair work act’s
  • Continuous improvement of payroll processes, reporting, data preparation
  • General administrative tasks as required
  • Assisting with Financial data entry as required
Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Office/Site Administration role, preferably within the mining or power generation sectors
  • Previous payroll experience 
  • Experience interpreting EBA’s
  • Advanced computer skills (Strong Microsoft Excel experience is essential)
  • Experience in accurate data entry
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Strong focus on quality and a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to gather and process information efficiently and accurately
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, EmpLive or ADP will be advantageous
