TW Power Services (TWPS) is a leading provider of integrated asset management, operations and maintenance services to the power and energy industry. We work with our customers to achieve their goals by using best-practice systems and processes backed by technically skilled people to deliver project management, outage management and sustaining capital works operations and maintenance services. Our business is growing and we are seeking to add highly skilled and motivated people to our teams.
We seek to appoint an energetic and engaging Human Resources Advisor to our team, based in South Melbourne. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Advisor plays a key role within the team, being highly business focused and supporting the regular HR activities and projects, including employee engagement and people development initiatives.  The role is the focal point for the administration of our People management processes, including responsibility for the HRIS, monthly reporting and workforce analytics and needs to confidently provide consistent and confident advise to the business.  This role would be suited for a candidate ready to take the next step in their HR career and who enjoys working within and industrial and regionally spread business.
Key responsibilities will include: 
  • Proactively providing a superior customer experience
  • Builds relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring smooth delivery of HR services
  • Provide appropriate and relevant HR policy advice
  • Is the focal point for all HR processes and People movements
  • Act as the knowledge point for HR systems and use
  • Be the key contact for external service providers ie. Employee Benefits, AustralianSuper and actively promote these services across business
  • Assist with HR related initiatives where directed and in accordance with HR Strategy
  • Assist with recruitment and selection activities, including onboarding and induction.
  • Prepare executive and other reporting as required
The successful candidate showcases a history of high performance, tenacity, enthusiasm for the task at hand, an engaging personality and sound interpersonal skills.
Couple this with;
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in heavy industry and industrial environments will be highly regarded
  • Able to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, regionally spread  
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply relevant employment legislation
  • Be a person of integrity who is trusted by others and achieves their commitments
