Seeking a qualified Compliance Officer with RTO experience to start January 2021

  • Commencing Monday 11th January 2021
  • Full-time, 3-month contract with possible extension
  • Join one of the largest providers in Victoria
Full-Time Compliance Officer commencing Monday 11th January 2021 for an initial 3-month contract. There is a possibility of extending beyond that period.

The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the RTO is kept up to date on all compliance matters relating to training. Under instruction from the RTO Compliance & Projects Coordinator the Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance within training regulatory frameworks through effective communication, planning and implementation of these requirements and ensure all administrative functions within the Training Department are performed to a high standard.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all aspects of training are compliant as per regulatory frameworks.
  • Effectively communicate compliance updates and ensure implementation to ensure that the RTO is delivering high standards in training and curriculum as per ASQA and report to the RTO Management Group as required
  • Undertake quality assurance checks on student files by ensuring audits are conducted regularly.
  • Ensure all contracts are up to date and meet compliance requirements.
  • Develop, implement and manage and oversee the process of investigating and resolving Skills Victoria Training System (SVTS) errors and rejects.
  • Delegate and oversee the timely processing of claims.
  • Undertake preparation of compliance for all training audits, including audits within the required timeframe.
  • Ensure compliance with VTG Funding Contract to ensure ongoing funding and implement changes when required.
  • Develop, implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure funding and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate internal audits
Experience
  • Ability to deliver high-level compliance in relation to training.
  • Ability to deliver high-level administrative support.
  • Ability working with databases.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Experience working in a customer service role.
Qualifications
  • Employee Working with Children Check or a Victorian Institute of Teaching licence.
  • Australian Federal Police Check or a Victorian Institute of Teaching licence.
  • Current Victorian driver’s licence.
