The Company

They are currently looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated fitness professional for the position of Head of Digital (HOD).
About the role:
The HOD is required to ensure cross-functionality of all company digital software’s, APIs and overall digital infrastructure, allowing them to work cohesively together. You will be an e-commerce and digital expert with a proven track record of digitising e-commerce style businesses that showcase growth, optimisation and innovation. You will report directly to the General Manager of Operations (GMO), but will also work closely with the Chief Operations Officer (COO), Business Development Manager (BDM) & Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). 

You must be able to lead and delegate to your team, recruit when and where required but also have the practical skill set that can personally identify, diagnose and implement a resolution when identified as a subject matter expert.

As HOD, your role will be powered by data, you need to be able to collate, document and dive into data from various sources and use the findings to help shape the company’s strategic and commercial goals. 

Specific Duties:
The Head of digital is required to keep the GMO abreast of all important matters including but not limited to:
  • Manage the entire roll-out and on-going optimisation of the end-to-end e-commerce and LMS experience
  • Provide weekly reports on the trends, analytics and KPIs of the website and its performance. This may include and is not limited to overall traffic, conversion rates, engagement, bounce, top pages, time on page etc
  • Audit and improve overall conversion rate optimisation (CRO) across our website to drive up product sales and overall LTV in relation to company budget and commercial targets
  • Develop, maintain and evolve a robust internal business reporting system that brings together marketing, sales and operational data, allowing them all to speak to each other as part of a company reporting dashboard. This dashboard will need to be evolved and maintained ongoing as part of your role
  • Analyse and interpret trends using Google Analytics, historical sales, industry benchmarks and more as required to provide strategic advice to the CMO, BDM, COO & GMO
  • Create and execute an external affiliate system in conjunction with the CMO, COO, BDM & GMO and ensures it gets maintained and optimised effectively ongoing
  • Manage and lead your department effectively through the company project management software, Zoom and WhatsApp as required to ensure the productivity and performance of the overall operation of your department
