Reporting to a Senior Compliance Manager you will be part of a dynamic risk management & compliance team. The key focus areas for this role as you support the development and roll out of the risk and compliance framework are, Advisory, Compliance Management and Compliance Monitoring. You will enjoy the opportunity to assist with work on the development and implementation of a compliance monitoring program and work in the consumer lending environment, giving compliance advice.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with evaluating and advising on compliance related matters including market reviews
  • Supporting advisory related compliance enquiries
  • Assisting Line 1 with compliance advice
  • Assist with the maintenance, review ad continuous refinement of the risk framework, along with internal and third-party audits and reviews
  • Assisting with monthly reporting, compliance training and performance monitoring
  • Assisting with Line 2 investigations into areas or concern and subsequent troubleshooting
  
Key to this role will be your ability to work in a risk management and regulatory compliance team environment, working closely with key stakeholders and be a self-starter. This is an opportunity to use your compliance background to grow your career and work with a fantastic company and culture.
  
The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with around 3 years risk and compliance experience, gained in the retail banking / consumer lending sector. Experience in an environment where you have been giving consumer lending advice will be highly regarded. Demonstrated experience in compliance monitoring is essential, as is experience in a role that requires adherence to policy and regulations in regard to the compliance process. You will also have excellent written and communication skills, be able to work under your own initiative and are results driven. It is essential that you have a diploma or bachelor degree along with a compliance industry qualification. Knowledge of credit and retail consumer banking products is a must, as is knowledge of NCCP, AML, ASIC and Privacy Act.
