Established in 1999, Law In Order is one of the most recognised outsource service providers to law firms and legal teams specializing in legal technology support services. With offices across the Asia-Pacific region, we are looking for a motivated and professional lawyer with a passion for business development to join our high performing team in Perth.

The role

As a Business Development Manager (Corporate/Government) for Law In Order, you will manage all aspects of new business which will see you following up a regular flow of incoming leads, as well as generating your own leads and client prospects to work with, through your established industry networks.

You will also be responsible for growing your existing key accounts by securing new opportunities and growing your networks within those clients.

Given the diverse nature of our product portfolio you will have access to a full suite of products to take to market and will have the unwavering support of a close knit and supportive management team.

Based in centrally located CBD office, you will communicate with your clients through a combination of telephone, email and face to face contact. Using your naturally consultative approach to business and your deep understanding of the legal industry, particularly the challenges faced by the relevant stakeholders in this increasingly complex world of digital practice, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a wide range of solutions to assist our clients to overcome those challenges.

It is imperative that you enjoy creating and maintaining open channels of communication between yourself and your clients and will have built a solid career in the legal space, demonstrating the capability to effectively identify, nurture and mange client relationships.

Who we are looking for:

Someone who:

• Has a successful track record as a lawyer or other professional service provider with a keen focus on client relationship development and management, as well as a deep understanding of the challenges faced by lawyers/professional service providers in this current market.
• Has the ability to clearly demonstrate and communicate the value of Law In Order’s solutions to a variety of client stakeholders, in response to a wide ranging array of industry challenges.
• Is a highly autonomous team member with a solid work ethic, capable of embracing a steep learning curve whilst also self-managing their activity within the context of an overarching strategic framework.
• Is professionally presented, articulate and able to easily develop and maintain relationships with team members and customers.
