A unique opportunity has arisen to join New Zealand’s leading Electric Vehicle charging network provider.  ChargeNet NZ ( is committed to providing and maintaining a world class EV charging network to keep New Zealand charging into the future.  This role is central to growing brand presence and maintaining key stakeholder relationships, has a wide-range of responsibilities and requires a good deal of self-motivated enthusiasm.

ChargeNet NZ have built a nation-wide network of Rapid DC Chargers that let any EV owner quickly recharge their vehicle, typically in 10 – 30 minutes. Free from the constraints imposed by the hazardous nature of traditional fossil-based transport fuels, EV charging stations can be placed in much more convenient locations, like shopping malls and supermarkets where you would typically park for at least 20 – 30 minutes anyway.

Skills and Qualifications
  • A formal marketing or comms is a bonus but hands-on experience is key – up to 5 years in a similar role. An added bonus would be experience working in advancing technologies and/or infrastructure services.
  • Top notch communication skills
  • Experience developing marketing plans, campaigns and media releases
  • Strong project management, multitasking and decision-making skills
  • You rely on metrics-driven marketing strategies, having extensive online marketing and social media strategy experience
  • Highly-motivated working in a team environment
  • Established press and media contacts
