The Company:
Infratec have a powerful vision for New Zealand’s electricity generation that bypasses fossil fuels in favour of a 100% Renewable Energy mix. At the same time, they lead projects both locally and internationally that embed this philosophy, leveraging a variety of funding models and generating positive social outcomes, often in remote regions disaffected by lack of resource.
They offer end to end consulting, design, development, construction and operation capability in small and large scale grid connected and off-grid renewable energy systems, battery storage and low to high voltage distribution networks.

The Role:
A member of the Business Development team in the development of tenders and proposals, this role leads the development of tender responses, proposals and PPA offers for complex New Zealand and international renewable energy and high voltage network projects, and serves as a critical link into the Operations team, managing the transition of successful opportunities and providing ongoing procurement and estimating input.

You will gain significant insight into the wider business, as this role reports directly to the General Manager of Business Development.  You will also have to opportunity to travel, both domestically and internationally.
You will bring a sharp and agile mind, with advanced problem-solving and time management skills. You will have excellent communication skills, and be wholly customer-focused.

The Candidate:
As the ideal candidate, you will have an engineering or technical degree.  You will have significant track record in the development of complex proposal development and in estimating for large-scale projects.  As a preference this experience will have been gained in renewable energy and/or infrastructure across international borders, and will have involved relationships with multilateral stakeholders.  Experience in HV distribution networks and related Civil Construction will also be highly regarded.
