About the Company
It’s said that “past performance is the best indicator of future success”.  Tatua Co-Operative Dairy Company is almost unique in New Zealand. It can point to an amazing past – a well-established enterprise with over 100 years of trading success; a successful present - as a globally recognised manufacturer of specialised dairy ingredients and food products; and an exciting future - that is being built on significant, identifiable, growth opportunities.

Tatua’s success is driven by rapid response to customers’ requirements through collaborative product development and customised solutions.  Its commitment, innovation, agility and product quality has led to enduring long-term customer relationships.

Tatua is committed to setting and achieving high goals and standards as it continues to export specialist products to more than 60 countries.  The company's success is strongly linked to the skills and dedication of its 370 staff.  There are several management opportunities that have arisen in Tatua’s marketing team caused from new roles being created, internal promotion and natural attrition.

  • an awareness of manufacturing and logistics constraints and how to manage these to achieve agreed objectives
  • attention to detail that means high quality standards are set and achieved for product delivery to customers
  • the commercial skills required to negotiate terms of business
  • personal qualities such as strong inter-personal skills, being a clear communicator and demonstrating energy, initiative, innovation and collaboration.
  • A dairy industry background would be an advantage but is not essential
Extensive overseas travel is involved with this role.

Based at Tatuanui near Morrinsville, Tatua is within easy commuting distance of several Waikato rural towns such as Cambridge or Matamata, and Hamilton City or even Tauranga.

This is a wonderful and rare opportunity for an outstanding individual to advance their career in an innovative, solution seeking environment with a globally respected brand and strong team culture.

Tatua offers attractive salary packages and opportunities for career advancement – including the potential for overseas postings in the future to subsidiary companies in Japan, China or the USA.
