The opportunity
Tatua want to continue and accelerate the growth of their specialty added value cream-based food products.  To back this up there is a significant pipeline of new products currently in development.

One of 5 Business Development Managers in Tatua’s Foods business unit, the BDM Consumer Products will focus on New Zealand and Australian fmcg channels. The range of retail specialty cream based products manufactured and marketed by Tatua is outlined on its website (  The BDM will grow business across all the range with strategic, promotional and operational planning responsibilities through to P&L accountability.  This brings with it a focus on pricing and margin management as well as using consumer insights to guide new product development and long term business growth.

About you
Preferred applicants will have considerable commercial experience in fmcg sales at a key account level.  In addition, core skills required are:  
  • A tertiary business qualification would be an advantage
  • Exposure to a manufacturing or processing food business
  • Well-developed commercial acumen, business disciplines and negotiation skills
  • Significant experience in working with marketing agencies
  • Positive, proactive approach to adding value to internal and external customers
  • Results focused
Extensive travel across ANZ is required.
