Our client is a successful industrial engineering company offering design, project management, commissioning and on going maintenance across the range of mechanical, instrumentation and electrical disciplines.  They have workshop operations based in Northland, Auckland and the BOP.
They cover a wide range of industrial sectors including Cement, Chemical, Dairy, Defence, Electricity Generation and Distribution, Food, Mining, Oil and Gas, Pulp & Paper, Shipbuilding, Telecommunications, Timber and Water.

You will report to the General Manager and be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy.  It is envisaged you work from your home office (which might be in Auckland, Waikato or the BOP) and spend large amounts of time in the market as you push into new business, but also manage and retain current ongoing sales. It is highly desirable that you have direct experience in selling in the large-scale industrial sector, as you will work directly with clients, engineering consultancy and specifiers.

  • Qualifications: Tertiary not demanded but expertise as outlined above is required
