Our client is a peak industry association in NSW with a substantial membership and significant profile. An outstanding opportunity exists to combine your workplace relations and advisory skills in this high profile and dynamic organisation.
Responsibilities of this diverse role will include providing written and verbal advice to members, representing members in various courts and tribunals, assisting in the resolution of workplace disputes, preparing and delivering training, as well as drafting workplace agreements for members and educating and assisting junior employees.

The successful applicant will have at least 3 years employment law experience, gained in a law firm, in house or in an industry body. You should have excellent written and oral communication skills, an enthusiasm for advocacy work and a commercial outlook. Also critical will be your attention to detail, negotiation and organisational skills.

In addition to offering autonomy and a broad variety or work, you will report to and be mentored by a highly experienced lawyer and work in a collegiate team where there is an emphasis on work/life balance.
