Due to our fast-growing environment, BIG is looking for a superstar Sales Trainer for our talented Optus Sales Ambassadors, working in consumer Telco/Technology.

The Sales Trainer will play a lead role in the design, delivery and implementation of innovative and bespoke training for our Optus Sales Ambassadors across regional Australia.
  
Optus is part of Singtel Group - one of the world’s largest Telecommunications groups, providing mobile, internet and exclusive content to over 700 million customers globally.
  
Locally Optus serves over 10 million customers here in Australia and has invested over $5 Billion dollars in its network over the last 3 years. 
Sales Trainer Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage instructional material for sales trainees
  • Provide training to sales personnel
  • Develop communication skills in sales personnel
  • Ensure that the training is conducted within the budgetary limits
  • Plan, schedule and provide training for sales personnel
  • Provide training in customer relationships
  • Driving innovation and leveraging technology platforms for delivery of content
  • Provide training and drive sales personnel in achieving hundred percent outcomes
  • Ensure compliance of corporate policies, standards and procedures
Role would suit someone who has:
  • 3 – 5 years of experience as a Sales Trainer
  • In-depth knowledge of the training and sales process and best practices
  • Hands on experience in managing the full training cycle
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel intermittently to parts of regional Australia to deliver training
