Opportunity now exists for an experienced WHS Trainer to join our Canberra branch. 
  
About the role
 
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver training for a diverse range of workplaces, including in-house training for larger customers as well as public training courses delivered at Konekt premises. Konekt has a large client base throughout the ACT region.
Your role is to work with the existing trainers to deliver scheduled courses, as well as to provide training sessions to customers

About you

You will be a driven and passionate professional and you will also possess the following:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment—TAE40116; or TAE40110 / TAA40104 with TAELLN411 (Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills) or higher
  • A minimum of two years recent relevant experience in an occupational or work health and safety role; or relevant tertiary or vocational qualifications in a field related to occupational or work health and safety
  • Recent experience in delivering WHS training, such as Health and Safety Representative Training, Due Diligence Training, or WHS for Managers and Supervisors
  • Solid understanding of WHS legislation and its application within the workplace
  • Self-drive and initiative, with the ability to organise work to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • A mature attitude and sound judgement
  • Current Driver's License is essential
