Vehicle Testing New Zealand's Henderson is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to assist in leading this team and turn their busy workplace around. We need someone to get their teeth into an exciting career move and help to head a fun and talented team.

You are our ideal candidate; you are action orientated and enjoy working hard, you seize opportunities and enjoy a challenge. You know your stuff but aren't afraid to seek out and try new methods. Delighting your customers and looking out for your staff comes easily to you and you won't settle for less than a high standard of customer care and safety for everyone.

VTNZ Assistant Branch Managers will ideally have the ability to do vehicle assessments by gaining a WoF authority. If you don't have your authority already we can support you with training, provided you:

•  are qualified as an automotive technician with either NZ Trade Certificate, National A-Grade Registration, NZ Advanced Trade Certificate or equivalent (N.B. overseas qualifications will need to be assessed by NZQA)
•  are qualified as an automotive technician with either National Certificate in Automotive Engineering, National Registration or equivalent + 3 years' relevant work experience 
• have worked full-time carrying out repairs and maintenance to all safety aspects of light motor vehicles for at least 5 years' cumulatively

• Plus a minimum class 1 license or equivalent
