About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Managers, address, manage and facilitate all employee relations, demands, grievances and or any other issues
- Provide leadership in all HR matters and ensure they are cost-effective and aligned to the strategic and business plans
- With Governance, manage the implementation and review of HR policies
- Providing advice and guidance to employees on internal HR policies and procedure such as performance probation meetings and maternity leave in line with Australian Employment Law.
- Responsible for the management of end to end talent acquisition including liaising with managers around talent needs, advising them of procedure, market salary rates and job descriptions.
- Conducting interviews for different levels of seniority within the business.
- Work with managers and individuals to develop training strategies and programs that create a personal and professional development environment.
- Ensure the health and safety of people visiting or working who are not employees by not exposing them to risk.
- Comply with corporate and legal health and safety requirements.
- Support, coach and work collaboratively with the team members on commerciality and industry relevant practice;
- Accomplish people management objectives by recruiting, training, assigning, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning and delivering compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- 5+ years in a similar role or as a HR Manager / Generalist.
- Previous experience working within the Tech industry would be a bonus.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good attention to detail;
- Excellent at time management and prioritizing;
- Ability to work under pressure and ability to proactively identify critical business issues and problem solve;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Be Reliable, flexible and adaptable
- Payroll skills are desired but not essential
- Ability to negotiate effectively and commercially
