Our client is a reputable & well established Accounting firm whom are currently on the look out for an experienced Administrator to join their friendly & professional team. The successful candidate will be joining the growing Admin team and must be tech savvy and feel comfortable with a varied position. We are looking for a hands-on candidate that has initiative and enjoys supporting a team & assisting with the daily tasks that contribute to the smooth running of a professional office.
  
Duties include but not limited to: 
  • Reception 
  • Meet & greet clients
  • Preparation of meeting rooms & coffees for clients
  • Responding to client queries
  • Diary Management
  • Incoming & outgoing mail
  • Typing & preparation of documentation
  • Scanning, binding & collation of documentation
  • Document & Workflow Management
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients
  • Keeping databases current and correct
  • Managing billing system
  • Data entry / general assistance to staff members including Accountants
  • Liaising with the ATO and other external organisations
  • Assist with ASIC (Corp Sec) - Training will be provided
  • Taking credit card payments over the phone & face to face
  • Assisting with social media
  • Onboarding & assisting clients in regards to a new mobile app that is going to be rolled out
  • General Office duties including housekeeping tasks
Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience within a similar position within a Professional Services environment.
  • Tech Savvy! Our client is improving systems continuously to make their teams life easier so you will need to be adaptable & competent using cloud based software. (They are bringing out an app shortly!) 
  • Experience within an Accounting firm is preferred however candidates from Professional Service environments will also be considered.
  • Exposure to Xero / MYOB / Doc Management software is highly regarded however not essential.
  • Intermediate to Advanced with the MS Suite in particular Word, Excel & Outlook. Typing speed of 45wpm min.
  • Customer focused ethos with an excellent telephone manner is a must!
  • Professionally presented as this is a corporate environment.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Be punctual, dependable and well organised with day to day tasks.
  • Have initiative and be pro-active with excellent organisational skills.
  • Professional and positive disposition
  • Able to prioritise workload and keep staff informed of where tasks are at.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Team player who can work well to deadlines.
