An Internationally recognised brand is looking for a Safety Administrative Assistant to join their team based in the Weatherill Park area. The organisation has a high-performance team culture, and renowned for development and career progression.

The Position:
  
In this position the Safety Health Environment & Compliance Coordinator will lead and facilitate with Shift Managers the safety and quality strategies and management systems.  Other responsibilities include;
  • Assist in the creation and implementations of Safety processes
  • Compliance administration
  • Completion of safety observations and inspections
  • Completing regular safety walk arounds
  • Safety investigations
  • Updating safety matrix and risk registers
  • Assessing completed safety documentation
  • Ensuring correct storage of safety paperwork
  • Providing compliance reports to the safety Coordinator
  • Monitoring and key strategy implementation to improve Safety, Health and Environment and Quality
  • Assisting in liaising with all departments to ensure consistency in the SHE and Quality management procedures and practices
  
  The Candidate:
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Relevant degree or qualification preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Advanced in using MS Office/ Word/ Power Point
  • WHS policies and procedures
