Our client has an excellent reputation for supplying premium products from 6 different suppliers, maintenance and servicing programmes whilst delivering superior customer satisfaction.  As they continue to expand they are looking for a pro-active procurement officer who will report directly to the GM.  You will be part of a small friendly team who work together to deliver excellent results to clients.

The role is varied and will have a spread of procurement, estimation, administrative duties across sales and operations.  In this role you will be responsible for compiling estimates for projects and sourcing the materials and equipment required to carry out various projects.  The successful candidate will be working in a fast paced environment and must be able to multi-task and prioritise.

Duties will include:-
  • Prepare accurate costings for estimates, quotes and tenders 
  • Procure all project materials and equipment and co-ordinate delivery to specified location
  • Administer tool distribution for projects
  • Manage stock and storage
  • Source and administer freight providers
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable building codes and standards
  • Receipting and supplier invoice management
  • Reconciliation of supply to project budgets
  • Manage servicing and maintenance of tools in accordance with manufacturers' requirements
  • Manage shipment of project tool requirements to site and return to storage facilities
  • Maintain tool and material registers
  • General administration duties
Experience needed:-
  • Ability to interpret and quantify from engineering drawings 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cost control, budgets and forecasts
  • Ability to define scopes of work
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills

This is a  varied role and would suit candidates who have been in building supplies procurement/project managers.  Ideally candidates will have a proven track record in estimation, procurement and operations.
