The sales engineer will need to work with the business development team to deliver high level architecture, build out market leading commercial propositions, training and sales strategies. The successful candidate must have the skills to grow relationships with the customers, have proven consultative expertise to engage with customers and be able to define their transformation roadmap.


Responsibilities:
  • Partner and co-own all sales activities at a customer level
  • Actively plan and shortlist a business development plan to approach new customers
  • Lead POV based discussion and educate customers about company’s colocation assets and be responsible for end-to-end solution vision and design.
  • Monitor team’s performance; develop and recommend corrective actions
  • Create detailed, accurate technical solution proposals based on client requirements
  • Partner sales teams to develop new business opportunities within the existing customer base as well as supporting account acquisition activities
  • Monitor and produce reports on monthly metrics
  • Lead the project delivery team
  • Manager project installation and commissioning

Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Telecom/Computer Science/IT or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the Data Centre Industry
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience managing technical or consulting teams in pre-sales environment
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in handling enterprise scale clients and designing complete technical and business solutions for them
  • Experience in building colocation and hybrid cloud sales pitches
  • Excellent communications skills, strong presentation skills, knowledge of ‘Point of View’ based selling
  • Must be motivated by a dynamic environment
  • Experience in Cloud environments is a major advantage
  • Solid commercial understanding of colocation and cloud services is an advantage
