The Company
This Australian owned family-run business, specialising in multi format out of home media that spans across the nation, is looking for an ambitious sales professional to join their out-of-home sales team within the direct sales division. Part of a wider group of agencies, that houses a suite of creative and sales brands, they seek to create more authentic, engaged spaces between brands and consumers, where their people, clients and communities are more enriched for the experience. They boast a fun internal culture, with a strong focus on flexible working and work/life balance.

The Role
The Business Development Manager will drive new business opportunities across the Regional NSW Trains Network. The role will require you to develop strategic relationships with local-area businesses, exploring opportunities and talking to clients about the benefits of out-of-home advertising. There will be specific KPIs and challenging sales targets, but uncapped earning potential for the right person! The ideal candidate will be personable, driven, able to work autonomously and excel at networking and building relationships. Must have a car and full driver's license.
Generous base salary ($60,000 - $70,000), plus uncapped commission ($100,000 - $120,000), this is a great role within a fast-growing media company that has huge potential for career development.
  • At least 2+ years of sales experience in a similar role
  • A passion for driving new business 
  • Prior experience with cold-calling/door-to-door (preferred) 
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal 
  • Energy, enthusiasm and can-do attitude 
  • Experience with advertising, media or signage is ideal
  • Have a car and a valid drivers license 
  • Willingness to travel (regionally)
  • Strong account management skills
  • Competency with negotiation 
  • A student mentality with a passion for learning new things
