One of Australia's fastest growing Software as a Service (SaaS) companies with offices now in New York and London are looking to add to their Sales team with the hire of a BDM.

We are headquartered in Sydney CBD where and have approximately 30 people, covering all the roles you would expect to find in a successful software business, including sales, marketing, customer success, product and development, analysts, finance etc.

We are growing rapidly and signing upwards of 100 new customers a month, ranging from medium sized through to the largest enterprises.

The Role

We are seeking highly intelligent, consultative Sales Associate who understand the art of listening, understanding and solving problems. The role is to introduce businesses to a better, more affordable, more enjoyable and productive way of training their staff via our innovative Software as a Service solution.

Your role is to unearth and speak to customers, carefully understand their needs, qualify the opportunities, qualify out where necessary, then proceed to proposals with those who we are an excellent fit for.

If the following describes you, we'd love to chat

  • You're consultative.  We are here to solve very real problems that our customers have with their training.  This requires 80% listening and 20% more listening.
  • You have strong empathy and genuinely care about improving business practices for our customers.
  • You are a fast learner and be comfortable working with constant change.  For example, we ship new product on average every week. If you snooze you get left behind very quickly here.
  • You're an amazing storyteller.  Listening to product demos from multiple vendors can be mind-numbing for our prospects, so it is essential that you are able to translate the prospect's challenges and how we can solve them, using real-life examples and stories that help illustrate the solutions.
  • It'd be great if you had e-learning industry experience, however that's definitely not a must!
