Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage a Accounts Officer. This position is located in their busy Albury office for an initial 12 month contract.
- Provide advice to stakeholders on financial management processes
- Maintain data in relation to financial, operational, administrative, reporting and assurance activities
- Participate in staff development and training activities
- Work collaboratively as a team member and build strong relationships
- Adhere to legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks relating to financial management
- Contribute to process improvement in relation to financial services
- Undertake financial reconciliations and reporting
- Actual days and hours to be worked will fluctuate with workflow demands - part-time casual work
- Experience with day to day accounting / bookkeeping practices
- Previous experience in the Government sector desirable
