We are currently seeking a well presented and self-motivated sales professional who has strength in relationship building, business development and values strong customer service.
 
The company has an enviable reputation within the commercial construction sector as a supplier of quality products who exceeds expectations and goes that extra mile for their clients. The company specialises in the manufactures and provision of high-level compliant façade systems and architectural exterior products.
 
This is a newly created position due to continued growth and demand throughout Australia due to their high level reputation. The role will be responsible for specialised, architectural cladding products predominantly provided to commercial builders, major projects, and architects within the Sydney precinct.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Onsite visits and sales
  • Prospecting new clients and market research
  • Implementing the sales process with prospects
  • Generate required sales according to sales budgets
  • Follow-up and management of key account customers in CRM
  • Generate new account customers within existing market
  • Appointments and product presentations to commercial builders, architects, designers etc
  • Customer inquiries and sample/information requests
  • Technical inquiries including clear clarification of queries
  • Market research and analysis
  • Lead follow-ups and management
  • Take-offs, estimating and quoting as required
  • Attend any required trade shows or seminars (Eg. VBA, VLGA, Builders Collective etc)
  • Handle customer complaints including clear clarification and resolving of issues
  • Weekly updating of project list and reporting at weekly focus meeting
  • Weekly attendance of team meetings and reporting
 
You will work very closely with a dynamic sales team and Management with the opportunity to progress within the company. You will be provided with high level support, marketing and quoting assistance.
 
To be successful in this role you would have a proven track record in sales and strong business acumen. You enjoy taking ownership of your duties, can lead by example and be highly self-driven and motivated.
 
Previous sales or experience within the commercial construction and building industry is beneficial, but not essential.
 
Must have current drivers licence. An attractive salary package is on offer along with sales tools and other benefits.
